An explosion in Samangan killed one person

Security sources in Samangan reported that 10 people were killed and injured in an explosion in the province.

Samangan police spokesman Abdul Munir Rahimi said the blast took place today in two Document writing booths in the city of Aibak.

Eyewitnesses, meanwhile, say the blast was caused by a landmine planted in a Document writing booth around the central lawn.

Mr. Rahimi added that one person was killed and nine others were injured in the blast.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast.
