A female police officer was assassinated in Kapisa

Kapisa police report the assassination of a female police officer by unknown individuals in the province.

Kapisa police chief Moinuddin Sial said unidentified gunmen killed a female police officer at her home in the second part of Kohistan last night.

Mr. Sial added that the police was a prison officer in Kapisa province.

According to him, the motive for the assassination of this female police officer is still unknown.

No one or group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
