193 Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in eight provinces

The Ministry of National Defense reports that 193 Taliban fighters have been killed and wounded in the past 24 hours in eight provinces of the country.

The ministry said in a statement that 131 Taliban insurgents were killed and 62 others were wounded in clashes and attacks by defense and security forces.

According to the Ministry of Defense, these Taliban fighters were killed, wounded and arrested in Ghazni, Paktika, Kandahar, Zabul, Herat, Jawzjan, Takhar and Kapisa provinces.

The Ministry of Defense said that 9 mines were discovered and defused by the security and defense forces and some weapons and ammunition of the group were destroyed in these clashes.
