UNAMA: Fifteen civilians have been killed in the past three days

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) says at least 15 civilians have been killed in the past three days.
UNAMA has issued a statement saying that civilians will suffer the most as fighting enters Afghan cities.
UNAMA said at least 10 civilians were killed and 85 wounded in Lashkar Gah in the past three days alone, while five were killed in Kandahar, 42 were injured and thousands were displaced.
UNAMA added that Taliban ground and ANA airstrikes had caused the most damage, and that there were deep concerns about indiscriminate firing, which caused extensive damage to health facilities and civilian homes.
UNAMA has called on the parties involved to do more to protect civilians, otherwise the effects will be catastrophic.
