A roadside bomb blast in Paktia has killed at least 12 civilians

Paktia police reported that 12 people were killed in a roadside bomb blast in Sayed Karam district of the province.

According to the Paktia Police Command, a roadside bomb was detonated last night in Chenio village of Syed Karam district.

The statement added that 12 civilians, all members of the same family, were killed and two others were injured in the blast.

The victims are said to include three women, three men and six children.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
