439 Taliban fighters have been killed in the past 24 hours

The Ministry of National Defense announced in a newsletter that 439 Taliban fighters had been killed in 12 provinces.
The ministry said in a statement that the Taliban fighters had been killed in clashes and counter-attacks by security and defense forces.
The ministry also said that 77 members of the group had been wounded in the clashes.
According to the ministry, Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in Nangarhar, Laghman, Logar, Paktia, Uruzgan, Zabul, Ghor, Farah, Balkh, Helmand, Kapisa and Baghlan provinces.
