51 Taliban fighters were killed in Balkh

The Ministry of Defense reports that 51 Taliban fighters have been killed in Balkh province.

The Taliban fighters were killed in airstrikes before noon today in the areas of Imam Bakri Bridge and Baba Kohna in Dehdadi district of Balkh province, the ministry said in a statement.

According to the newsletter, a number of fighters of this group were wounded in the airstrikes and some of their weapons and ammunition were destroyed.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
