The Turkish embassy in Kabul was evacuated

Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that the Turkish embassy in Kabul has been evacuated.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told reporters that staff at the Turkish embassy in Kabul had been transferred to Hamid Karzai’s airport.
“We have transferred our embassy staff in Afghanistan to Kabul airport, where Turkish troops are stationed. We have held talks with the Taliban. This connection will continue if necessary,” he said.
“The Taliban offered us to take over control of Kabul airport,” Erdogan said of the Kabul airport management.
According to him, Turkey’s position in Afghanistan will be determined after the formation of a government in Afghanistan.
