The US embassy was moved from Kabul to Doha

The US State Department announced the relocation of its embassy from Kabul to the Qatari capital.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has announced that his embassy in Kabul has been moved to Doha, the capital of Qatar.

He cited uncertain security and political conditions in Afghanistan as the reason for the relocation of the embassy, and said the United States would work with the group if the Taliban fulfilled their commitments.

Last night, the last plane carrying US troops left Kabul airport.

Following that, this morning, Zabihullah Mujahid, a Taliban spokesman, appeared at Kabul airport and said that the group was seeking good relations with the United States.

“This victory belongs to all Afghans, and the defeat of the United States is a great lesson for all occupiers,” he said.

He also called for good relations with the United States and the world.
