Twelve people have been killed by Taliban in Daikundi

Sources in Daikundi report that 12 people were killed by the Taliban in the province.

According to these sources, there was a clash between the former government commanders and the Taliban forces in Darreh Khodi area of Khadir district.

The sources say that 9 military personnel and 3 civilians were killed as a result of this clash.

But Siddiqullah Abed, the Taliban’s police chief for Daikundi province, said a Taliban member had been wounded in the clash and denied that soldiers or civilians had been killed.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Hedayat, Press officer of the second vice former president, posted on his Facebook page that a large number of people, including Musa Amiri, the former police chief of Khadir district, had been killed in the clash, calling it catastrophic.
