French Foreign Minister: We will not have any relations with the Taliban

The French foreign minister has said the country has no ties to the Taliban and the government does not recognize them.
“The Taliban have said that they will allow some foreigners and Afghans who decide to leave Afghanistan to leave freely,” French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian was quoted as saying in an interview with French television. The Taliban spoke of an inclusive government; But this did not work. “They are lying.”
He added: “France refuses to recognize and establish any kind of relationship with this government. We call on the Taliban to take action, and they will need economic and international relations. “It depends on them.”
The French Foreign Minister also stated that there are still some French citizens and Afghans who have worked with this country left in Afghanistan.
France has evacuated about 3,000 people from Afghanistan during the withdrawal of foreign troops and Afghan allies.
