Alam Gul Haqqani has been appointed acting director of the Taliban government’s passport department

The Taliban have appointed Rumi Alam Gul Haqqani as acting director general of Passport.

Maulvi Alam Gul Haqqani served as the director general of the Ministry of Aviation during the first term of the Taliban government, and in the current Taliban government he was the director general of higher education before being appointed to this post.

However, the General Directorate of Passports has also announced in a statement that it will start its activities soon.

However, after the fall of the previous government, the activity of the General Directorate of Passports was stopped.
