Erdogan: Afghanistan has been abandoned by the world

Addressing the UN General Assembly, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the Afghan people have been left to their own devices to determine their own destiny, while the country needs the help and solidarity of the international community.
He said that in the event of a crisis in Afghanistan, Turkey would see a new wave of migrants.
He added: “The people of Afghanistan are left to decide their own destiny; “While this nation needs the help of the international community and solidarity with it.”
According to him, in addition to Syrian refugees, Turkey is currently hosting one million refugees of other nationalities.
He also said that Turkey continues to play a fraternal role in helping the people of Afghanistan.
