Three children were killed in an explosion in Kunar

Sources in Kunar reported that three children were killed as a result of an explosion of unexploded ordnance.

The sources said the incident was caused by an unexploded ordnance that left three children dead and three others injured.

However, despite the end of the war and the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, people in some parts of the country, especially children, are still being killed as a result of unexploded ordnance and landmines.

Three days ago, the UN Under-Secretary-General announced that at least 450 children had been killed and 1,200 injured in Afghanistan in the past six months.

He added that foreign aid workers have also been attacked during this period.
