Taliban Foreign Ministry: Kabul Airport is ready to resume flights

The Taliban Foreign Ministry announced that Kabul Airport was ready to resume foreign flights.
Taliban Foreign Ministry spokesman Abdul Qahar Balkhi said Kabul airport is ready to resumed domestic and international flights and the technical problems had been solved.
Balkhi has assured domestic and international airlines that they will be cooperating and has asked them to resume flights.
However, after the Taliban took control of Kabul and the fall of the previous government, domestic and international flights were suspended, leaving thousands of Afghans stranded abroad and hundreds of foreign nationals stranded inside Afghanistan.
