The Taliban have banned Beard shaving and haircuts in Helmand

Beard shaving and haircuts for men has been banned by the Taliban in some provinces.

Hafez Rashedi, the head of the good and forbidding of evil in Helmand province, said yesterday that shaving will be banned not only in Helmand but in all provinces of the country.

According to him, this decision was made in a meeting of the officials of the good and the prohibition of the bad with the barber shops and the baths.

According to some reports, the group has also banned the playing of music in barbershops and shops.
