Turkey wants US troops out of Syria and Iraq as well

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said that his country would like to see American troops leave Syria and Iraq like Afghanistan, CBS News reported.
“If the United States wants to serve world peace, there is no point in staying in these parts of the world,” Erdogan said in an interview with the network. “You just have to leave these people alone to let the local authorities make their decisions.”
He said: “Let me be very clear and honest, we will never stay where they do not want us to stay, we will never stay where “We are not welcome. We will not be present.”
