Taliban: The constitution of the Zahir Shah period is in the interim government

The Taliban Minister of Justice explained in a meeting with the Chinese ambassador that the law of the Zahir Shah period is applicable in the interim government.

According to the newsletter of the Ministry of Justice published today, Abdul Hakim Shari; Taliban Justice Minister met with Wang Yu the Chinese ambassador in Kabul yesterday and discussed bilateral cooperation.

The Taliban Minister of Justice said during the meeting that the constitution of Mohammad Zahir Shah’s era is valid during the Taliban interim without any articles contrary to Islamic law and the principles of the Islamic Emirate.

According to the newsletter Chinese ambassador, expressed in this meeting that the security of Afghanistan is improving day by day after the rule of the Taliban and the people continue their normal activities without fear.

The Chinese ambassador also spoke about his country’s efforts to help Afghanistan.
