Clashes between the Taliban and ISIS in Kabul

The Taliban reported the destruction of an ISIS hideout and the killing of a number of ISIS members in Kabul.

Zabihullah Mujahid, a spokesman for the Taliban and the group’s deputy minister of information and culture, said a clash between Taliban forces and ISIS in Kabul had destroyed an ISIS hideout and killed a number of its members.

At the same time, sources reported a clash in the 17th security district of Kabul, in which the sound of light and heavy weapons was heard.

Mujahid said that the clash took place as a result of an operation by the special forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan last night at an ISIS base in the 17th district of Kabul.
