Resumption of the evacuation of Afghan citizens by the United States

According to Sputnik, Corey Martin, Chief of Staff of the United States Transportation Command, said that the process of deporting Afghan citizens to the United States has resumed.
“There are still 10,000 to 15,000 Afghans left outside the Americas, they will be transferred to the United States,” he said. This movement was stopped due to the diagnosis of measles. “All evacuees have been vaccinated against this disease and mumps and rubella on the advice of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”
“The second flight took place today and the third continued to fly,” he said, stressing that the evacuation process from Europe had resumed.
Earlier, the evacuation of Afghan citizens was halted due to measles detection among Afghans.
