The Taliban cabinet has ordered the resumption of ID card distribution

According to the Bakhtar state news agency, the Taliban has ordered the National Bureau of Statistics and Information to resume the process of distributing ID cards as in the past.

According to a report released today, the Taliban chief’s cabinet decided to resume the distribution of electronic IDs as in the past.

But the report did not provide details on whether the system name and other electronic IDs will change or remain the same.

Meanwhile, according to the order of the Taliban Council of Ministers, the process of distributing passports has resumed, but the process of distributing ID cards is still stopped.
