The UN Security Council called for the perpetrators of the recent terrorist attack in Kunduz to be brought to justice

In a statement, the UN Security Council called on all countries to work to bring to justice the organizers and supporters of the recent terrorist attack on the Shiite mosque in Kunduz, in accordance with their obligations under international law and Security Council resolutions.
“Members of the Security Council emphasize that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations is one of the most serious threats to international peace and security,” the UN Security Council said in a statement. “Members of the Security Council stress the need to bring to justice the perpetrators, organizers and supporters of these terrorist acts.”
The council called on all countries to cooperate with all authorities in identifying the perpetrators and bringing the supporters of this terrorist attack to justice.
Friday’s terrorist attack on a Shiite mosque in the Khanabad area of central Kunduz province reportedly left 60 people dead and nearly 150 injured, prompting a backlash.
The US and Turkish State Ministries also strongly condemned this terrorist attack.
