Russia condemns terrorist attack on Shiite mosque in Kunduz

The Russian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement condemning the terrorist attack on a Shiite mosque in Kunduz province.

According to Sputnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry in a statement condemned the terrorist attack on the Shiite mosque in Kunduz, calling it a brutal attempt to destabilize the situation in Afghanistan.

“We strongly condemn the October 8 organized terrorist attack on the Shiite mosque in Kunduz, calling it a barbaric and deliberate move to destabilize Afghanistan at this new stage in the country’s history in order to undermine its policy,” the statement said.

A deadly terrorist attack on a Shiite mosque in the Khanabad area of Kunduz province on Friday killed at least 120 people and injured nearly 150 others.

The Khorasan branch of the ISIS terrorist group claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack by issuing a statement.
