The United States and Britain have urged their citizens not to stay the Kabul Serena Hotel

The United States and Britain have called on their citizens to leave the Serena Hotel in Kabul immediately due to security threats.

The United States and its embassy in Kabul, in a message to their citizens staying at the hotel, asked them to refrain from attending the hotel and its surroundings and to leave.

However, the message did not say anything about the nature of the threat to the lives of the citizens of these countries.

Britain, on the other hand, sent a similar message to its citizens urging them to refrain from staying in and around the hotel.

They warn their citizens of the threat as the US State Department announces fair results over the past two days of talks between Taliban and State Department officials in Qatar over the safe exit of foreign nationals from Afghanistan.
