UN Secretary-General: Afghanistan’s economy is in dire straits

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has stressed that the Afghan economy is in dire straits and said that the international community should support it.

“This is a very serious threat, cash opportunities are very limited, while cash is the lifeblood of the economy,” he added.

After the fall of the previous government and the Taliban’s domination of Afghanistan, and following the non-recognition of the new government of this group, all the aid of the world countries to this country was cut off.

However, so far the government of this group in Afghanistan has not been recognized by any country.
