ISIL claimed responsibility for yesterday’s terrorist attack in Kandahar

The Khorasan branch of the ISIS terrorist group has accepted responsibility for the terrorist attack on a Shiite mosque in Kandahar province yesterday by publishing a statement.
The group said in a statement that two of its fighters first killed the mosque guards and later blew themselves up.
The terrorist attack took place yesterday on the Imam Mosque of Bargah Fatemieh in Kandahar city, which reportedly killed at least 40 worshipers and injured dozens more.
This is the second terrorist attack by ISIS on Shiite mosques.
Last Friday, a Shiite mosque in central Kunduz province was attacked by the group, killing at least 200 people and wounding others.
