American newspaper reported that the troops of the former Afghan government joined ISIL
Some former Afghan government soldiers have registered to join ISIS, and their numbers are said to be growing.
The Wall Street Journal reports that some former members of the former Afghan government’s security directorate and members of US-trained military units have registered to join ISIS.
The daily adds that the number of former Afghan government troops joining ISIL is increasing day by day.
However, the Taliban have not yet commented officially on the matter.
Meanwhile, the ISIS terrorist group has recently increased its activities in most parts of Afghanistan, and previously it was reported that members of the group had issued announcements in the districts of some provinces asking people to join the group.
