The Taliban denied that former government forces joined ISIL

The Taliban have denied reports that former government forces have joined ISIL, saying the group has no permanent presence in Afghanistan and will be suppressed even if it moves.
Taliban spokesman Bilal Karimi called the reports of former militants joining ISIL propaganda in a number of media outlets and said that ISIL did not have the capacity to recruit people in Afghanistan.
The Wall Street Journal reports that former Afghan government forces threatened by the Taliban have registered to join ISIL in order to survive and resist the Taliban.
According to the report, most of the former soldiers who have been trained by the US forces have registered to join ISIL, and their number is increasing day by day.
The newspaper writes that the Taliban have always underestimated the ISIS group in Afghanistan, but if the group absorbs more troops, it will be difficult to defeat it in Afghanistan.
