A delegation from the Taliban will go to Iran to solve the problems of Afghan students

The head of the Taliban Ministry of Higher Education met with the Iranian ambassador in Kabul and called on Iran to cooperate in the field of higher education.
Abdul Baqi Haqqani, acting head of the Taliban’s Ministry of Higher Education, met today with Bahadur Aminian, Iran’s ambassador to Kabul, and said that Afghanistan needed Iran’s cooperation to thrive and advance in science and knowledge.
Haqqani added that a delegation from the Afghan Ministry of Higher Education will travel to Iran to create educational opportunities for Afghan refugees in Iran, strengthen cooperation between the two countries and provide scholarships.
While appreciating Iran’s cooperation in the field of higher education with Afghanistan, he added that the delegation will work jointly with officials in that country on scholarships, education and other issues during their visit to Iran.
The Iranian ambassador also assured that his country will cooperate with Afghanistan in this regard.
