The Taliban are working with international organizations to resolve the Afghan crisis

In a meeting with the Executive Director of the World Food Program, the Taliban Deputy Prime Minister stressed the need to work with all international organizations to resolve the Afghan crisis.

David Beazley, Executive Director of the World Food Program, in a meeting with Taliban Deputy Prime Minister Abdul Salam Hanafi, stressed that they are working on a mechanism to work in exchange for food to prevent a humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan. During the meeting, the Taliban Deputy Prime Minister also said that the Taliban are ready to cooperate with all international organizations to prevent a humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan.

The organization said that about 22.8 percent of the population, which makes up half of Afghanistan’s population, is facing severe hunger.
