The eighth summit of the Turk Council was held yesterday on the island of Democracy and Freedom in Istanbul, focusing on “Green technologies and smart cities in the digital age”.
“With our new name and structure, the Organization of Turkish Governments, we will take root faster, grow and prosper,” said Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, speaking at the council’s press conference.
Referring to the victory of Azerbaijan, he said: “I hope that the victory of Nagorno-Karabakh will open the doors of a new era that will bring peace, stability and cooperation to the Caucasus.”
Erdogan noted: “We also approved the 2040 vision document of the Turkish world at this summit.” The geography of Turkestan as the cradle of civilization will once again become a center of attraction and enlightenment for all humanity.
He recently promised to donate 2.5 million vaccines to Africa, emphasizing the joint struggle of the Organization of Turkish States against the Corona epidemic.
