A doctor was killed by kidnappers in Balkh

Nader Alemi, a neurologist who was abducted by gunmen in Balkh about two months ago, has been killed.

Relatives of Dr. Nader Alemi say he was killed last night.

According to Dr. Alemi’s relatives, he was abducted from his home by gunmen in a Hilex car about two months ago.

The gunmen took him away from his house, saying they have a patient.

Nader Alemi, a doctor specializing in neurology and psychiatry, has worked for many years in the field of treatment of neurological and mental illnesses.

However, local Taliban officials in Balkh have not yet commented.

However, kidnappings and targeted revenge killings have increased in Afghanistan’s provinces, especially since the Taliban took control.

In the latest case, a doctor in Kunduz province was abducted by kidnappers a few days ago.
