Greece evacuated 119 people at risk from Afghanistan

The Greek Foreign Ministry announced the transfer of 119 people at risk from Afghanistan.

The ministry said in a statement that those transferred from Kabul included judges, lawyers, journalists and a former Afghan government minister.

The men are said to have flown by plane from Kabul airport yesterday (Tuesday) to the airport in the northern Greek port city of Thessaloniki.

However, according to the Greek media, Greece has transferred 819 people from Afghanistan after the recent developments in Afghanistan.
