The Taliban are releasing 212 prisoners

Taliban officials announced the release of 212 prisoners by the Islamic Emirate.
Mohammad Jalal, a member of the Taliban’s cultural commission, tweeted that Abdul Hakim, Haqqani, the group’s chief justice, had released 212 prisoners.
He did not provide details about the identities of the detainees or how long they have been in prison.
However, after the Taliban took control, the group released prisoners throughout the province and announced a general amnesty.
