UNICEF announced the landing of a winter aid plane at Kabul Airport

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) says a plane carrying winter clothes to help Afghan children land at Kabul airport.
The second of six full-charter flights carrying 30 tonnes of winter clothing landed at Kabul Airport yesterday, according to the UNICEF.
The organization said the shipment included 30 tonnes of winter clothing intended for 8,600 children.
Unemployment and poverty have risen since the recent developments in Afghanistan, and most Afghan families are struggling with food and fuel shortages this winter.
International aid organizations have repeatedly stated that if this situation continues, there is a possibility of a humanitarian catastrophe in Afghanistan.
