The European Union called the situation in Afghanistan worrying

The EU foreign policy chief says the situation in Afghanistan is dire and worries EU member states.
EU foreign policy chief Jazep Borrell made the remarks at the start of talks between the EU foreign ministers.
Talks between EU foreign ministers began in Brussels yesterday.
The foreign ministers of the union member states are scheduled to discuss the situation in Afghanistan and Russia’s military presence on the border with Ukraine.
The German Foreign Ministry has also announced that the talks will focus on how to deliver humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and the obstacles it faces.
