Tika’s office helped 500 families in Bamyan

The Office of the Turkish Development and Cooperation Agency (TIKA) distributed aid to 500 needy families in Bamyan province, following the distribution of aid to needy families in Kabul.

According to the office, the winter aid, which includes food and blankets, was distributed to 500 displaced and needy families in the highest areas of Bamyan.

“In recent months, we have distributed humanitarian aid to 500 needy families in Bamyan province due to rising unemployment and cold weather in Afghanistan,” said Zohdi Chal, head of Tika’s Kabul office.

The donation ceremony was attended by Shamal Khan Mosleh, the head of the Taliban’s refugee department, and Maulvi Abdullah Sarhadi, the Taliban governor for Bamyan.
