Explosion at the entrance of Kabul Passport Office

Taliban officials in Kabul say an explosion took place at the entrance of the General Directorate of Passports in the province this afternoon.

Aqiljan Azzam, the Taliban’s deputy interior ministry spokesman, said a suicide attack on the Kabul Passport Authority had been prevented today.

He added that a suicide bomber who wanted to enter to the General Directorate was identified and killed by the forces of the Islamic Emirate.

However, the exact details of the casualties of this explosion are not known yet, and so far no one or group has claimed responsibility for this explosion.
