Taliban: Negotiations are underway regarding the management of Kabul airport

The Taliban say no agreement has yet been reached with any country to manage Kabul airport.
The Afghan Civil Aviation Authority wrote on its Facebook page today that no agreement has been reached with any country for the management of Kabul Airport and that a technical service agreement for five Afghan Airports is still ongoing.
On Friday, Anatolia news agency quoted Turkish and Qatari diplomatic sources as saying that Turkey and Qatar had reached an agreement with the Taliban on the management of Kabul airfield, and that the two countries will also manage four more Afghan airfields.
But Turkish and Qatari officials have not yet commented on the deal.
