ISIL claimed responsibility for the blast at the Kabul Passport Authority

The ISIS group has claimed responsibility for the recent explosion at the entrance of the Kabul Passport Office by publishing a statement on its Telegram page.

The blast took place last week at the entrance of the Kabul Passport Office.

The Taliban’s interior ministry confirmed the blast, saying a suicide bomber who tried to enter the passport office and blow himself up was killed before reaching his target.

According to some reports, a number of people were injured in the blast.
