Kazakhstan has sent 155 tonnes of $ 1.9 million worth of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, the Kazakhstan Ministry of Commerce said.

“A train carrying 155 tons of $ 1.9 million worth of humanitarian aid, including food and medicine, has left for Afghanistan,” Kazakh Trade Minister Bakhyat Sultanov was quoted as saying by Sputnik.

He added that by order of the President of Kazakhstan Jurmat Tokayev, humanitarian aid worth 5,000 tons of flour has been allocated to the people of Afghanistan.
