A Taliban member was killed by gunmen in Kunduz

Unidentified gunmen shot dead a Taliban intelligence officer in central Kunduz.

Sources in Kunduz province say a Taliban intelligence officer was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the Sindh port of Kunduz on Monday.

However, witnesses to the incident said that the gunmen took his car with him after killing him.

Local officials in Kunduz province have not commented on the incident, and no group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack.
