Turkey’s exports reached $ 225 billion in 2021

The President of the Republic of Turkey announced that his country had exports of about 225 billion dollars in 2021.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made the remarks in a speech to the Turkish General Assembly of Exporters.

Stressing that the country had economic growth of more than $ 225 billion in 2021, the Turkish president said: “Turkey is, for the first time, going from a crisis-affected country to a country that manages crises and even turns crises into opportunities. Has become.”

“Although the Corona epidemic first began as a health crisis, it later affected all sectors of the economy, tourism, education and even social relations,” he said, referring to the effects of the Covid-19 epidemic.

“Turkey’s exports in 2021 increased by 23.9% compared to the previous year to 225 billion and 368 million dollars, which is a clear economic record,” said the Turkish president.

According to him, Turkey’s foreign growth, which was only 87.6 billion dollars in 2002, has increased to 499.7 billion dollars in 2021.
