One person was killed in a clash between kidnappers and the Taliban in Kabul

Taliban officials say one person was killed this morning in a clash between the group and the kidnappers.

Zabihullah Mujahid, deputy minister of information and culture and Taliban spokesman, tweeted that the security forces of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan had carried out a special operation in the Khoshhal Khan neighborhood of the capital against suspected kidnappers.

Mujahid added that the operational measures have been completed and as a result, one of the criminals has been killed.

At the same time, local media reported that gunfire and several explosions were heard in the western part of Kabul.

However, after the Taliban took control, there have been several clashes between the group and the kidnappers in Kabul, and in some of these incidents, the kidnappers have been arrested or killed.
