Taliban Defense Minister to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan: Return our helicopters!

The Taliban’s defense minister warned Tajikistan and Uzbekistan to return helicopters transported to those countries.

“Respectfully return our helicopters, these planes belong to Afghanistan and the nation,” Taliban Defense Minister Mullah Mohammad Yaqub told to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan in a gathering yesterday. “No one can confiscate property in their own country.”

He added that do not test the Taliban and do not force them to do the same.

More than 40 helicopters have been flown to Tajikistan and Uzbekistan by former government forces, according to Taliban officials.
