Taliban: If anyone stands up to the regime, he will be destroyed

The Taliban have warned that anyone who stands up to the regime or collaborates with the regime’s enemies will be eliminated.
Zabihullah Mujahid, deputy minister of information and culture and Taliban spokesman, said today in response to the recent unrest in Faryab province: “We have complete control over all areas, we will not allow insecurity anywhere, our forces in all provinces are regular and strong.”
He added that if anyone stands up against the regime and becomes an accomplice of the enemy or abuses the situation, he will be destroyed by the Mojahedin while helping.
Mujahid explained the recent unrest in Faryab province and said that a person arrested in Faryab province was involved in the abduction of a child named Abdul Rauf and that the case was being investigated.
Faryab residents protested last Thursday in response to the arrest of Makhdoom Alam, former head of the Taliban military commission and a prominent Uzbek commander, sparking clashes between protesters and Taliban forces.
