16 people were killed and injured in two separate traffic accidents in Balkh and Badakhshan

Two separate traffic accidents in Balkh and Badakhshan provinces killed four people and injured 12 others.

The first traffic accident occurred in Barkhshan province and according to local sources in the province, the accident occurred as a result of a Corolla vehicle overturning from the road.

Moazuddin Ahmadi, director of information and culture in Badakhshan province, said the accident took place in the Shahr-e Bozorg district of the province, killing four occupants and injuring three others.

The second traffic accident occurred on the Jawzjan-Balkh highway.

Local officials in Balkh province say the incident occurred as a result of a Taliban military vehicle colliding with a Saracheh vehicle, injuring nine people.

According to them, the injured were taken to Abu Ali Sina Balkhi Hospital in Mazar-e-Sharif.
