The World Food Organization distributed aid to more than 2,000 families in Nooristan

Local officials of the World Food Organization in Nooristan say that food aid has been distributed to 2114 needy families in the province by this organization.
Atiqullah Safi, head of the World Food Organization in the east of the country, told the state-run Bakhtar news agency that the aid included flour, oil, slabs, salt, malnutrition for children and food for pregnant women.
According to him the organization, it helps a total of 7,800 needy families in the center and in some districts of Nuristan.
