Delhi and Islamabad agreed to transfer Indian aid to Afghanistan

The Indian newspaper Times of India reported on the Delhi-Islamabad agreement to transfer 50,000 tonnes of Indian aid wheat to Afghanistan.

According to the newspaper, according to the agreement between the two countries, the first shipment of this aid wheat will be transported to Afghanistan via Pakistan in early February this year.

Noting that Islamabad has never provided transit facilities for the transfer of Indian aid to Afghanistan in the past few decades, the newspaper wrote that according to the agreement between the two countries, the aid will deliver by trucks under the WFP through the Torkham border crossing to Afghanistan.

India donated 50,000 tonnes of wheat to Afghanistan two months ago.
