Norway reopens Afghan immigration case

Norway is reopening the files of those Afghans who had been refused from immigrate to the country.

“The Commission believes that the situation in Afghanistan is no longer as unpredictable as it used to be,” the Norwegian Appeals Board said in a statement. “In this regard, the commission decided to resume the review of cases.”

The statement also noted that those who have appealed against the asylum decision can stay in Norway until their case is re-examined.

The added declaration will not send people who have been rejected for immigration to their country and they will have to wait for each case to be considered separately.
